WATCH IT realizes that you care how information about you is used and shared, and we appreciate your confidence that we will do so carefully and cautiously. This notice describes our privacy policy regarding the information collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use WATCH IT (the Service). In this notice, we will be using “us”, “our”, “we” and “the Service” interchangeably to refer to the WATCH IT service. By visiting WATCH IT, you give us your consent to the practices described in this Privacy Notice.
Information Collection and Use
The information that we continually get from our customers help us improve our Service to them.
Here are the different categories of the data collected.
Information provided by the customer (information you give us):
We collect and store any information you enter while using our service or give us in any other way. We use the information that you provide for such purposes as identifying you, responding to your requests, and communicating with you. The information you provide to us may include but not limited to:

This data is gathered in several ways, such as, when you enter it while using our service, interact with our customer support, or participate in customer surveys.
2.Information you provide while choosing your account settings, or otherwise provide information to us through our service or elsewhere.
Automatic information:
When you access the Service by or through any device (PC, smart TV, smartphone, STB, gaming systems, or any other streaming device), we may collect certain information automatically. This information includes, but not limited to, the following:
1.Your activity on the WATCH IT service, such as title selections, watch history, and search inquiries.
2.Details of your electronic communications with our customer support, such as the date, time, and purpose for contacting us, and transcripts of any chat conversations or emails.
3.Device unique ID and other unique identifiers, resettable device identifiers (also known as advertising identifiers), such as those found on many mobile devices, and tablets. (see the "Cookies and Internet Advertising " section below for more information);
4.device type and software features (such as category, configuration, and operating system), connection information, numbers of page views, IP address of your device (which can give us your general location), type of internet browser, and standard web server log information;
5.information collected via the use of cookies, and other technologies, including advertisement data (such as information on the availability and delivery of ads, the site URL, etc). (See our "Cookies and Internet Advertising" section for more details.)
Information from partners and other sources:
We might receive information from other companies with whom you have a relationship (“Partners”) or from any other sources and add it to your account information, Examples for Partner companies include: your TV or Internet service provider, mobile phone carriers, or other companies who provide payment collection services to you for the WATCH IT service
We also obtain information from other sources such as online and offline data providers and publicly available data sources such as government databases.
The information provided by Partners and other sources may include, but not limited to, the following:
Media-related search inquiries and commands you make through Partner devices;
WATCH IT activation information such as your email address or other contact information;
device IDs or other identifiers that support the user authentication procedure, the WATCH IT registration process, Partner payment processing, and the presentation of WATCH IT content to you through the Partner’s user interface.
your location based on your IP address, demographic information, interest-based, and online advertising-related data
payment information, or updates to that information.
Use of Information
Information about our customers is an important part of our business, and protecting your privacy is as important to us as it is to you. We are not, in any way, in the business of selling any information, that you give us, or any other info that we collect about you to others. We share customer information only as described in this privacy notice. Furthermore, our partners are either subject to this Privacy Notice or follow practices, at least, as protective as those described in this Privacy Notice.
We use information that we acquire to provide, analyze, improve and personalize our services and our marketing efforts to you, to process your registration, your account authentication, your orders, and your payments, and to connect with you on these and other issues. We might also use your watch history to provide you with a first-rate personable experience and suggest to you tailored viewer recommendations based on your taste, preferences, and the genre of the movies, series or shows that you frequently watch. For instance, we use the information to:
Analyze and comprehend our target audience, enhance our service, and optimize content selection, recommendation algorithms, and delivery.
Communicate with you concerning our service so that we can send you our news and updates, details about new features, user interface and new content acquisitions available, special customer offers, new promotions, consumer surveys, and to assist you with user requests such as password reset requests. These communications may be via several channels, such as email messages, push notifications, text messages, online messaging channels, through our mobile application, and matched identifier communications (described below).
Determine your general geographic location, deliver localized content, and provide you with tailored and personalized viewing suggestions for movies and TV shows we think will be interesting to you.
Identify your internet service provider; thus, help us quickly and efficiently respond to your inquiries and requests.
Coordinate with Partners on making the Service available to members and providing data to potential members about the availability of the WATCH IT service.
Avert, detect and investigate potentially prohibited or illegal activities, including fraud, content breach, hacking, unauthorized use of users’ data, and illegal use of content out of licensed domains/platforms.
Implement our terms and conditions (such as determining free trial eligibility).
Access to Accounts and Profiles
If you are a new WATCH IT user, you will be required to sign up or register by going through very simple and straightforward steps as follows:
a) Visit: www.watchit.com or download WATCH IT App on your smart device and click register.
b) You will be asked to fill in your basic personal information (first name, last name, country, gender, birth date, email, and password) then click next.
c) An email will be sent to the email address that you have provided to verify its authenticity.
d) Once you open your email and click “verify your email”, you will be re-directed to our website on your browser or our mobile application on your phone, to add your phone number, with a notification that a verification code will be sent to the phone number that you provided.
e) You will be required to enter this verification code on our website or mobile application to confirm your information.
f) Once you confirm your information, you will be directed to the payment plans page, where you are required to choose from three different types of subscription plans (monthly, semi-annually, and annually), or else if you have a promo code, you can enter it by clicking on “have a promo code, click here” icon.
g) Then you are required to choose which payment method you prefer (Online Payment Gateways– Credit Card or iOS In-App purchase, Android In-App purchase, Huawei In-App Purchase) and enter the required data for each payment scheme.
h) Once completed, you will receive a confirmation email informing you that you have successfully subscribed to our service.
If you do not want to reenter your username and password every time you visit our service, you can use the “Remember me on this device" function when you log in to our website. This function will enable you to have easier and direct access to your account, without requiring your user identification information each time you wish to log in.
Please note that we do not have access to your account identification information. We protect your password during transmission using encryption methods. In other words, we do not know your password, nor can we retrieve it in case you lost it. If you lose your password and want to reset it, you can do that on your own by following the instructions of resetting your password on the website. As a way of protecting your privacy, we do not have access to or keep this type of information.
For Security purposes and whenever possible, you should log out after you finish your visit, especially if you are using a public or a shared device. If you fail to log out from your account when using a public or a shared device, other users may be able to access your account, profile, and other personal information.
If you chose to share or otherwise allow others to have access to your account, they will be able to see all your information such as your watch history, ratings, and account information (including your name, email address, phone number, or other information in the "Account" area of our website and App). This is also applicable to your profile. Your profile is accessible to anyone who uses your WATCH IT account. You should be aware of this before you allow any other users to access your WATCH IT account and/or your profile. Please note that profile users can change the account password and/or the subscription plan. If you do not want any of these changes to take place, you should explain this to others who have access to your account.
Security
WATCH IT is keen to keep your personal information safe and secure. We use several administrative, physical, and managerial procedures to protect your personal information against forfeiture, theft, and illegal access, use, and adjustments. Nevertheless, please note that there isn’t any protocol of transmission over the Internet or a technique of electronic storage that is absolutely and accurately 100% secure. While we strive to use logically and reasonably acceptable means to protect your personal and identification data and provide a level of security that is appropriate to the risks of processing your personal information, we still cannot guarantee its complete security.
